Squamish never ceases to provide inspiration. Here are some boulders from Summer 2018 where we were fortunate enough to uncover new gems and have ourselves another unforgettable season, one that we wish would never end. We're so lucky to have the privilege to enjoy this amazing place.
I chose Leon Bridges' song, Bad Bad News, not only because it's a beautiful song melodically but also for his words -- as a community it's important to push for diversity and inclusiveness in the climbing/outdoor world, where the majority come from affluence and privilege. We're so fortunate to be climbers and to have these opportunities whereas so many people don't for a variety of socioeconomic reasons. If you're in the Seattle area please check out Vertical Generation, a Seattle-based nonprofit that works to provide access to climbing for youth who otherwise may never have the opportunity.
Huge thanks to the humble and awesome folks at Organic Climbing for the best crash pads around: https://organicclimbing.com/

Beta to find the freshies:
Lost and Found - Drive up the forest service road 1km until you see the 1km marker. Hike up and sightly left from the 1km mamquam sign for about 7min -- you'll see the striking double aretes sitting above on the hillside.
Charlotte's Web - From the farm main area walk up the hill and left from Hog Wild just past Polly Pockets and you'll see the blank face and blunt arete (another problem called Red Eye) about 15 feet uphill.
Old Speckled Hen - Park for the farm and walk to the problem Taco Loco in Magic Kingdom. Old Speckled Hen sits just below the hillside behind that cluster of boulders.
The Outlaw Star - Park for Sheriff's Badge. Located on the far right of the same face as Thunderballs and around the corner from another new one, It's a Snap. For more topo info: https://www.instagram.com/p/BkE_z7rDFFg
